A Letter from Apostle Aaron Smith

Below you will find a letter submitted by the Apostle Aaron Smith in regards to Damon Thompson.

A letter from Apostle Aaron Smith:

I have known Damon Thompson and his family since he was a small boy. Damon grew up in a home of God fearing parents that pointed him in the way that he should go. When Damon was twelve years old he responded in a youth meeting to the altar call. At this meeting of about fifty teenagers of ages ranging from twelve to eighteen, he was the first to respond. After we prayed with him he immediately turned to the other teenagers and he began to preach. He said to them, “ I am the youngest of this group and I am not afraid to step forward to make sure my life is right with God.” He then said, “You know you must step forward too.” They all did! It wasn’t long before the only place the youth could meet was the football field. It was remarkable.Wherever I have gone he has stayed in touch. I’ve seen him growing up into his anointing. He has always responded to any correction that I have brought to him as a spiritual son. When he is faced with a big decision he always seeks my council. Sometimes my council is not what he wants to hear, but he has never responded in disrespect but honorably. As his Apostle I have taught him to always hear the Word of the Lord for himself. To hear the Word and honor the Spirit of God. He is confident that he hears and the Spirit is leading him.

Damon is an anointed preaching evangelist with a mantle of the Prophet. Damon has already preached to hundreds of thousands around the world. His ministry has been marked by the spirit of healing. Many wonderful miracles, signs and wonders follow him. He has an anointing to stir people to believe for themselves. He despises fake and cherishes the genuine.

I love Damon, his wife Tammy and their son Elijah. I trust him with my family, church family and my pulpit.

Sincerely,

Aaron Smith
Apostle/Senior Pastor

RELATIONSHIP -> REVELATION -> AUTHORITY -> POWER!

Before he was John the Revelator, he was John the Beloved. Before he was caught up into Heaven on the Lord’s day, he laid his head on the Lord’s breast.

John’s power was a result of the authority he received from the Christ. His revelation was a result of his relationship with the Christ. That authentic revelation was revealed through authentic power.

There is a vulnerability in the Church today caused by a lack of authenticity. We have lost the element of surprise – that is, that unique manifestation of power demonstrated by the Christ - as we attempt to establish His Kingdom in the earth. This element of surprise comes from our authenticity; our authenticity comes from knowing our true identity; our true identity comes from truly knowing our Father. In essence, we must truly become Sons of God.

Sadly, there is very little authentic power evident in the Church today. There is more emphasis on the spectacular than the supernatural. There is more concern about how many people are sitting in the seats than there is about setting those same people free from the things that bind them. This is a product of insecure leaders who build churches full of co-dependent people. These co-dependent people, in turn, feed the insecure leaders. And the cycle continues.

In order to find our true identity in the Father, it must first begin with relationship. That relationship will lead to revelation, and the authority you receive and operate in will release power. The supernatural power demonstrated by those with authority will validate the authenticity of who they are and identify them rightly in the earth, as Sons of the Most High God.

The earth is waiting …
