I wasn't living for God, I was in a backslidden state, but I was at that service. I remember thinking he was really good...impressive. Been in church all my life, hard to impress...But Hallelujah, since then, on Nov 28th, 2004 I gave everything over to God for the rest of my life...God's been dealing with me & growing me up for his call on my life...a preacher...a general...anyhow... Recently my dad gave me all of his old video cassette tapes...I saw Damon's Name & Church Alive so I thought I'd check it out... Sure enough, that was the service I was at...only 5 years ago God hadn't given me ears to hear or eyes to see, but now he has... That was a phenomenal message I thought. I'm still very excited about it...told a few people... I'm going to try & see if my church will book him to come down to Louisiana where God currently has me at. If I could say something to Damon I would say my soul is very hungry & I sure am glad God used someone to remind me of that in his message "Just God"...God bless you Mr. Thompson for carrying such a fire & hunger for God.
